She is the envy of girls around the world, and model Emily Ratajkowski now has another credential to add to her world of fashion. Ratajkowski has teamed up with Spinelli Kilcollin in creating her own jewelry designs and has a 7-piece “Emrata x SK” collection out now.
The collection features fold, diamonds, and circular-shaped bands which were inspired by mythological goddesses. “To me, jewelry is all about having fun and feeling pretty,” she said when speaking to Vogue about the collaboration. While we can all relate to Ratajkowski when she says she is a self-proclaimed diamond lover, admitting “I’ll wear a diamond necklace with sweats or with a swimsuit on the beach,” she is the lucky one who gets to have her own collection. After “years of obsessing over jewelry” she was inspired to work on her own line, and it seems to have paid off.
Moreover, the rings in the collection have a unique sense to them. With the two options – “blanc” and “noir” – buyers can purchase an entirely new take on wedding bands. Those opting for the black version will get two larger white diamonds, while buyers of the noir option have two black diamonds. The rings feature four linked mixed-metal bands, with two having pavé diamonds and two without. Meanwhile, the seven-piece collection, which is available online, starts at $6,000.
Just recently, Ratajkowski made her own wedding band for her wedding to Sebastian Bear-Mclard. Speaking to Jimmy Fallon about her yellow gold band, she said, “We made our actual rings” after going to Chinatown to buy an ounce of gold. “They were supposed to be temporary rings, but now I’m very attached and I don’t want to get rid of it,” she said. “I just feel like after making it yourself, could it be more personal? I mean, really.”
