When it comes to celebrity couples, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are the ultimate A-listers. These two stole our hearts when they got engaged on the beach in the Bahamas, and since then, fans have been on tenterhooks waiting for news on when they will become husband and wife. However, it seems as though wedding planning for these two hasn’t been plain sailing, and their wedding plans have changed a little over the past few months.
Planning The Big Day
Anyone who has planned their own wedding will know that it’s one of the most beautiful, but also one of the most stressful times of your life. A huge amount of work needs to go into making the big day perfect – and we bet it was even more intense for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rogriguez, who have more celebrity friends than most of us can fathom.
Putting Life On Pause
However, during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, J-Lo noted that the coronavirus pandemic had not only put their lives on pause, but it had also put their nuptials on pause. While she didn’t give away any dates, she hinted that their big day should have taken place pretty soon, but that she doesn’t know what’s going to happen now. In her words, “It’s something that we’ll have to wait and see in a few months, how this all pans out.”
Alongside J-Lo’s interview, her hubby-to-be has also spoken to Entertainment Tonight on the matter. Alex noted that they have had a Zoom meeting with all of the people involved in planning the wedding, and they have gone over what the next twelve months could look like in terms of their big day. They have weighed up options both financially and practically, but ultimately know that they are going to have to be “fluid” in terms of their plans.
We wonder when they’ll eventually tie the knot?
