Vince Vaughn had a very strategic reason for proposing to Kyla Weber on Valentine’s Day, back in 2009. He explained, “Valentine’s Day rolled around, and I figured this is not a ship to be missed because I will not forget this date, so Valentine’s Day was the day that I asked her.” Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler got engaged while on vacation in 2014. However, they may need to get engaged again at this point, as they’re still not married yet. Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford also got engaged while on vacation. That was in 2009, and they got married in June 2010.

Weddings

Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault got married on Valentine’s Day, in 2009. They had a simple courthouse ceremony in Paris but then had a larger wedding two months later in Venice, Italy.
