Planning Their Photos
Becky and Matt were engaged, and the couple knew they wanted an engagement photo shoot to capture the moment. Unfortunately, the constant rain meant that it was tough to find a date to bring their snaps to life. Becky had booked a photographer named Bonnie Turner who was more than willing to wait for the perfect day.

An Unexpected Email
Becky and Bonnie had been emailing in the build-up to the shoot, but the photographer was about to get one that she never expected. Becky’s dad, Tim, had been battling prostate cancer. Now, his health had taken a turn for the worse, and he was about to head into a hospice. Becky wanted to change her photo shoot to one with her dad instead.
Setting It Up
Thankfully, Bonnie was more than happy to oblige. The photographer knew that time was of the essence so arrived at the family home as soon as she could. Becky knew that it wasn’t the ideal location, but she wanted the chance to have her moment with her dad.

The Incredible Results
Bonnie was able to bring the photos to life in incredible ways. They both wore wedding attire as they danced, smiled, and cried in the yard that Becky played in while she grew up. The pictures appear to capture the emotions of the pair as if they were the only people in the world.
An Untimely Passing
Sadly, Bonnie later learned that Tim had lost his battle five months after their photo shoot. She took to social media to share the news, and people from all around the world soon left emotional comments about their own stories with their parents and thanking Bonnie for helping Becky’s dreams to come to life.
Our parents can be some of the most important figures in our lives. Thankfully, this bride was able to capture the love she felt for her father before it was too late. The results? Memories set to last a lifetime.
